Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Foreclosure Trustee Services Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the management and execution of trustee operations, ensuring high-quality customer service and operational excellence. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will be crucial as you address various challenges and enhance our service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and manage VA appraisal orders, ensuring all pertinent documents and information are accurately updated in our system.
- Review and execute DNMS documentation, collaborating with the litigation team on foreclosure files and appearing in court as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive records, including spreadsheet updates and document executions.
- Handle inquiries from borrowers, lienholders, realtors, and attorneys, providing timely responses via phone and email.
- Work closely with co-counsel to address foreclosure-related issues.
- Manage third-party surplus files across multiple states, coordinating efforts with our legal team.
- Oversee mail processing, phone monitoring, and visitor assistance at our Bellevue office.
- Execute and upload important documents for the remote trustee team while maintaining updated team manuals.
- Participate in quality control initiatives as part of the team.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required by the department.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in Mortgage Trustee Servicing, title servicing, or foreclosure processes.
- Familiarity with reverse mortgage services and trustee operations.
- Expertise in document execution and quality assurance.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Notary certification is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Located in the Seattle, WA area, with the ability to commute to our Bellevue office.
- Background in mortgage trustee services or foreclosure is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications are a plus.
